Interested in working on an occasional, as-needed basis?   

We are looking for a technician to assist in our Quebec Region with capital equipment repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with the appropriate Canadian standards. When urgent repairs are necessary, we require the technician to be available and rectify the situation for the hospital in need. The technician may also provide support working along side our biomedical technicians, with installing high quality equipment.  While there will be no guarantee of hours, we anticipate about 10 -15 hours a month of work.  

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary education in the Electrical / Mechanical discipline or equivalent.

• A valid drivers license.

• Three years’ related experience servicing electrical / mechanical equipment.

• A service oriented demeanor

• Good mechanical skills/aptitude.

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lift 30 lbs (13g).

• Ability to work with little notice as well as travel.
